Co-Ed Middle School Volleyball

Skills, competition, teamwork, discipline, devotions, and fun!

Who: Homeschooled Boys & Girls ages 9- 14 yrs. old (4th -8th grade - contact us if you have questions)

When:  Middle School: Feb - April ​

                            6th grade Co-Ed - Feb. 24 - April 20

                            8th grade  Co-Ed -Feb. 24 - May 2

***According to IHSA and HRK rules, athletes are allowed to play for one club or school volleyball team during the volleyball season.  If your athlete plays for a club or another school, they will have to make a decision for which team they want to play.  Our coaches and sports director are very happy to sit down and discuss with you and your athlete the best choice for their athletic career.  Please refer to the HRK sports handbook for further information, or email  .***

Mandatory Evaluation/Practice for both teams & Parent Meeting: 

•  VCG - Mon. Feb. 24 (Practice 4-6pm, Parent meeting 5:40-6pm)
  • Players will be evaluated & have an initial practice 
  • Parents will go over the program, expectations, meet other parents, & sign up to volunteer 
  • Where: Home court is Village Church of Gurnee (VCG), 1319 Hunt Club Rd., Gurnee, IL.

Co-Ed Middle School (6th-8th grade)-  $85

• Will meet 2-3 days per week for practice &/or scrimmage. Practices will be at VCG on M, W or Th. afternoons at 3:30 or 4pm
• Will scrimmage a few area schools both home and away
• Tshirt jersey is included in fee. 
• Tournament: May 1-2, 2020 in Wauconda, IL. *if your athlete cannot make it one or both days please notify coach as soon as possible*

Co-Ed Middle School (4-6th grade)-  $65

• Will meet twice a week for practices or scrimmage. All practice will be at VCG on M & Th. afternoon at 3:30pm
• Away scrimmage day & times vary
• Tshirt jersey is included
